I love this application. Would like to get the latest version which appears to be available only on your web page. Do you sell two different versions of this app? The one here on the Apple App Store and another on your web page? tia

I will say that I was surprised to see that my mac didnt have an alarm clock to start. Maybe just me not being able to find it. Anyway, the parts I do like is the actual alarm. I like that I can link it to a website that will help me get up. (I set it to pandora) If I had music in itunes, you can do that too. The clocks are a bit corny but accurate. Most of those clocks are small and can be put anywhere on the desktop. I like using a swim clock because of the fact that it takes over the desktop and is dark. Easy to sleep with. If I were traveling, I would need something in itunes or use one of the canned alarms since most places ask you to login to the service for wifi. Overall, pretty good. Easy to use. Not always intuitive (had to go to help to find the private alarms).
Within minutes of buying this app I realized that it was going to get annoying sitting in the dock all the time. Its been a year since then, and its still annoying sitting there in the dock. Occasionally I get bugs and have to delete and re-install the program — the most recent one being that I cant click the icon to view alarms and have to right-click from the dock. That said, its still the best of the apps in its category. For the price, though, there should really be more work put into the app. Im amazed a competitor hasnt emerged yet.
This program does what it is supposed to do, but you do have to play with it a little bit initially as it is less than straightforward to begin with. Once past the learning curve, though, you can replace your existing alarm clock, as advertised.
Super handy app, set the time, and I use iTunes for the alarm sound. Works better than it says. Download it, you will find use for it.
I took a long time wish-washing back and forth before finially deciding to purchase Alarm Clock Pro instead of some other alarm clock app. I cant speak for or against any of the other options out there, but Im LOVING Alarm Clock Pro. Yes, its slightly complex, but I didnt have any trouble figuring it out or setting it up to do what I needed. The best part about Alarm Clock Pro is that it can do almost ANYthing. Seriously. Anything you need a reminder for, you can pretty much do it, and can have it execute the reminder/alarm in almost any way you can think of. Prefer your alarms to be visual in nature? No problem. You can set the alarm to pop up a visual reminder that takes over your entire screen. No way you can miss that reminder (unless youre not at your computer, of course). Want it to be audial in nature instead? Record yourself telling you what you need to do, then point Alarm Clock Pro at that file and it will have it play whenever you want it to. Worried that you wont be able to hear it over other apps? Not a problem either. You can have ACP turn down or mute the volume on the other apps first. Want to have your alarms/reminders be BOTH visual and audial? No problem. You can also set your alarms/reminders to repeat every day, or week, or month, or hour, forever. Or you can set reminders for just today, or tomorrow, or whenever. You can have them repeat or not repeat as often as youd like. At first I just wanted to set it up to remind me to take my medications, but now I use it for all sorts of things. I work for myself, at home, so I dont have a lot of external things going on around me to remind me what time it is, so Ive started uing it to me keep certain daily routines, or remind me that you need to stop working early today because Ive got to pick up my kid earlier than usual. Seriously, anything I need to have a reminder for, from the most mundane to the most important, it can do and do it in multiple ways. It has become an invaluable app to me and Im sure theres plenty I havent even realized I can use it for.
Its pretty simple, it does what it says it will. I only wish the alarm sounds were more attention grabbing. Other than that, great product.
Its a great app for automation, perhaps one of the best ive seen. I just wish it was named differently to reflect that. I was looking for a full-featured alarm clock for the purposes of waking up. To that end, the app isnt really suitable. There are no alarm sounds built into the application itself so youll need to use your own sound files or download them. The app also does funny things with alarms when coming out of sleep (alarms trigger when they shouldnt).
I was looking for an alarm clock, I had no idea how what kinds of things I could automate! I am forgetful so imagine if you used it as a reminder video system or to automate task that you would forget (possibilities are as limited as your imagination). It is a great alarm clock by the way, but the name doesnt do it justice. This was well worth the price!
I got this a few months ago when I started working. Wanted some kind of alarm that would FORCE me to get out of bed. This one does that and so much more. Its customizeable beyond your wildest dreams, but I just keep it simple. Set it up to have an alarm ring every day at a certain time. My personal setup: Changes the computer volume to 100%, Turns iTunes volume to 100%, then blasts whatever playlist I have it set to at that particular time. I have my Mac Mini hooked up to external speakers, so its pretty loud. Forces me to get out of bed and come over to my desk to turn it off, so no snoozing allowed ;)
alarms would pop up but would not make sound even when changing multiple settings. Want a refund.
I payed $20 for an app that won’t open on my mac. I installed it and then when I try to open it, it acts like its going to for about two seconds then closes again. It only bounces the app twice before closing doesn’t even open to any options. I would like a full refund or a fix to this problem!
This was an excellent program that I used for quite a while. It then stopped working for no explained reason. Apple tech support can not figure it out. I am dead in the water. PUBLISHER — ARE YOU LISTENING?
What Happened? suddenly stopped working today…. This is apparently a trending experience based on other reviews…..Someone please help!!!!
I was late for work!!!!! I have relied on this alarm for months now. Suddenly, it stopped opening. Prior to this, I would rate 5 stars. Now it will not open. I even tried deleting, re-installing, and rebooting. Now it is not working so I am going to have to either buy another alarm app OR get fired from my job. Yaaaay thanks Alarm Clock Pro now I’m scr*wed.
I have been using this product for about a year. I highly recommend it. However, it stopped working recently.
The app cannot even be opened properly. It quit right after I clicked on it and tried to use it. Wasting money buying this ...
Was working great for awhile, now it won’t launch. :(
Very sad, as I really liked this program. In early January, it just stopped working. I was on Mountain Lion then, and am on Mavericks now, and it doesn’t work on either. I thought maybe the preferences file got corrupted, so I deleted that, and deleted the application. After re-installing it, still no dice. Wish they’d fix it. The developers don’t respond to tech support questions through their web site, either. UPDATE — I got an email from support. They wanted me to do some strange things to move the file to a “retail” version and no longer an app store version (is this even permitted by Apple’s rules?!?). So I did that. Good thing — I can now open the program. Bad thing — lost ALL of my alarms. I’m done with this program. Wish I could get my $20 back.
After an initial glitch (the program downloaded and installed from the Apple Store site refused to open) and a two week wait, I received an update that has worked flawlessly. The program is intuitive and easy to use and set up.
