I have ADD. I leave myself notes, reminders, post-its and nothing is as effective as when Alarm Clock Pro suddenly *speaks* out of my laptop, reminding me that it is “time to feed my pets.” Yes, some days I am so unfocused (or hyper focused) that I forget to feed my dogs. I can write the script that the app’s adorably robotic voice uses to remind me. The vast array of settings available is terrific for me — with a few clicks I can update the reminder to “rotate the laundry” or “check what’s in the oven.” Or remind myself a week in advance of a loved one’s birthay. A voice telling me what the alarm is for is infinitely better than any alert sound on other apps I’ve tried. I can tune out an alert sound. And when the message to feed the dogs is so familiar I start tuning it out, I can edit it into something else that will make me laugh the next day. Alarm Clock Pro is one of my most valuable apps and it’s saved me from myself more times than I can count. I will genuinely celebrate the day I can use the app on my iPhone because I can still get lost in my thoughts when I’m away from the laptop. THANK YOU, creators!

I paid $20 for software that crashed during the night and did not sound the alarm I set. By morning it was “not responding” and I had to force-quit. Unreliable. Save your money.

I’ve used this software for a long time. I’m a middle school art teacher and need to remind students (any myself) when clean up time is. And worse is that Friday’s schedule is different and doesn’t match the bell. In short Alarm Clock Pro is perfect. My one issue is that the current Koingo version has a slightly different format to indicate which days you want to have a given alarm activated. Activated days by default are blue. To deselect them you click and they turn black. Sort of. The letters are so small and the change is so slight that it is very difficult for me at least to see. When I contacted tech support about this all I got was a shrug saying that it was just the way the OS worked. Lame. Lame. Lame. I know enough about programming to know that there is always a work around and to shrug off a suggestion is laziness.

Hi Alarm Clock Pro Development. Great thinking here. Love the amount of tweaks you can do on this. Needs to be updated so it’s not so twitchy with the current OS. Alarm clocks above and beyond any sort of clever and convienent bells need to perform a very important single function. to ring, in whatever capacity, at an appointed time. I have had numerous errors in the alarm functioning. so 2 stars until I can have a consistent week. thank you in advance for fixing this. *follow-up, made it 4 stars since the Version 9.6.2 update. Seems to work for the last few days. Thanks!
